Program Information:
 Skaters will begin with basic roller-skating skills. As skaters progress throughout the levels, they learn skills with increased difficulty (spins, jumps, etc.). Classes are held on Saturdays. At the end of April, the program hosts a showcase of skills. This involves choreographed routines and costumes.
Length of Season:
 The program begins September 6, 2025 and ends April 26, 2026. Classes are 45 minutes in length on Saturdays.
Location:
 GYM at the Honeygo Run Regional Park Community Center (9033 Honeygo Blvd., Perry Hall, MD)
Who Can Participate:
 -Open to boys and girls ages 5+. 
 -No beginner adult classes offered-- adult alumni of the program only.
First Time Skaters:
 -Classes are based on skill level (not age)
-All NEW skaters will register for Beginner 1 and attend Evaluation Day on August 30, 2025--  2:00- 4:00pm
-If your child is uncomfortable with their assigned class, we will reimburse you in full. This decision must be made by the 2nd class on Sept. 13th.
Cost:
 -Registration cost is $140 per skater for the entire year. Sibling discount- $130
 -There will also be a costume fee due in October, not included in the registration price. 
 -Registration can be completed through Stone Alley. 
 -Skaters may not attend class until registration is paid in full.
 -Skaters must wear approved roller skates. Guidelines and links to purchase specific skates will be provided following registration.

 Beginner One 9:00 am to 9:45 am     **All NEW skaters will register for Beginner 1**
 Beginner Two 9:45 am to 10:30 am
 Intermediate One 10:30 am to 11:15 am
Intermediate Two 11:15 am to 12:00 pm
Advanced One 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm
Advanced Two 1:15 pm to 2:00 pm
Specialist One 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm
Specialist Two 2:45 pm to 3:30 pm
Advanced Specialist 3:30 pm to 4:15 pm
Alumni 4:15 pm to 5:00 pm
*Parents of skaters in Beginner 1 & 2 and Intermediate 1 & 2 are required to stay in the hallway during class time*
Required Skates:
 -For the safety of your skater, it is important that they have the correct type of skates for lessons.  
 -No inline skates.  No light-up wheels. Only traditional 4 wheeled skates.  Girls wear white skates. Boys wear black skates.
 -List of acceptable skates will be provided following registration.
Costume Info:
-At the beginning of May, the program hosts a showcase of skills. This involves choreographed routines and costumes.
-Costume fees are due by October 25, 2025- no exceptions.
-If you do not wish for your skater to participate in the show, let us know as soon as possible.
-Once costumes are ordered, you are responsible for the cost.
Costume Fees:
 -Beginner 1 & 2, Intermediate 1 & 2, Advanced 1 & 2: $75
 -Specialist 1 & 2, Adv. Specialist, Alumni: Girls $150, Boys $130
Additional Fees: (to purchase in March from program coordinator)
 -Boot Covers: $15 (if the skater does not already have a pair) 1st year skater boot covers are FREE.
 -Tights: $13 (child size); $15 (adult size)
Free to You:
 -All skaters will receive a medal/pin at the end of the session based on years completed. 
 -All skaters will receive a T-shirt. Please note the size during registration. (Youth-Adult sizes)
 -End of the year party at Skateland in May will be free for all skaters and their families.
Show Details: 
In registering your child, you agree to bring them to all four skating shows!
Attendance at Dress Rehearsal and ALL Shows is REQUIRED.
Dress Rehearsal: Saturday, April 18th from 5:00-9:00 pm.
Show Times: 
                Friday, April 24th show is at 7:00 pm
                Saturday, April 25th shows are at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm
                Sunday, April 26th show is at 1:00 pm
Refund Policy:
 Refunds are subject to a $10.00 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued after the 2nd week of the session. No refunds for cancellations due to weather.
Attendance Policy: 
 -From September to December, your child may miss no more than 4 practices and no more than 2 consecutive classes. 
 -The process will restart in January and your child can miss no more than 3 practices and no more than two consecutive classes between January and show weekend. 
 -Absences due to illness are excused for the health and safety of the other skaters.
 -In registering your child, you do agree to our attendance policy.
Closing/Cancellations:
 The program is cancelled/delayed based on communication from the Baltimore County Recreation and Parks.
Program Size:
We reserve the right at any time to close registration based on numbers received. Register early to guarantee your spot.
